Inspired by the tradition of Greek Orthodox votive offerings, TAMATA brings poetic writing and embroidered motifs together as a single system of inscription. Hand embroidery on aluminium foil translates inherited symbolic forms into a contemporary material language shaped by reflection and fragility.
The series was developed on the occasion of the Concrete Etheras workshop held by BBDB Studio in Athens.
