MONTHS. THE MOON.
This artist’s book draws from rural Greek daily diaries. Hand-embroidered onto paper, it becomes an intimate, tactile object where embroidery transforms memory into repetition and ritual.
OI ΜΗΝΕΣ. ΤΟ ΦΕΓΓΑΡΙ. (MONTHS. THE MOON.) variant II, artist’s book, embroidery with cotton thread, digital printing (Insize modigliani paper 200gr), hand-crafted typeface, 15 pages, 16x16cm, 2025
The embroidered motifs are inspired by the book ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ ΠΑΡΑΔΟΣΙΑΚΑ ΜΟΤΙΒΑ (GREEK TRADITIONAL MOTIFS), Volume 4, E.O.M.M.E.X., 1985
