THE LEAST HOME

This embroidered piece is part of my ongoing exploration of visual poetry. Drawing inspiration from greek embroidery traditions and the artistry of women, it reflects the fragile yet essential human need to belong.

THE LEAST HOME : SOME LEAST EARTH SOME LEAST SKY, embroidered artwork on aida cloth, 100x60cm, 2024

As part of SUPA : STICHING PEACE

SUPA is a fluctuating collective project made up of people coming from and living in different parts of the world whose paths crossed in Belgrade (Serbia) in a moment of openness. Since then, they forged links that led them to get together from time to time, beyond borders.

In an era where the canvas of global politics is stained and torn by conflict, Stitching Peace emerges as a collective endeavor that transcends geopolitical lines to explore the universal longing for peace and freedom.
