I WANTED SOMETHING TO UNITE

This series of small sewn paper pieces offers a subtle reflection on land reform — a defining feature of the Pauilhac region in southern France where the works were created — and echoes the desire to connect with the land itself.

I WANTED SOMETHING TO UNITE THEN I TOOK MY FEET AND SEWED THEM TO THE EARTH, work series, sewn transparent & golden paper, various sizes- from 7x10 to 13x12cm, 2024
